Haley

I received a text last week from my friend, Haley, asking if I wanted a small photography job. Not knowing what kind of photography she needed, I responded, “Sure, when?” After speaking with her I was delighted to discover that she wanted pictures of herself. I was so thrilled. Creating portraits, especially for an individual, is incredibly rewarding. It is so important to document our lives in every stage of life we experience so we have the opportunity to look back on where we’ve been a little more appreciatively. After all, “The most fertile source of insight is hindsight.” -Morris Kline, Mathematics: The Loss of Certainty. (Actually, I have no idea who that is or what that means. I was just trying to be deep, so I Googled.)

Really though, Haley is an artist. She was after a more intense look to her photographs and open to try anything, which = fun!  Also, you should know that the beautiful wrought-iron door in the last picture was made by her talented husband, whose work may be found here.
