I started out by flipping it horizontally. I’m not sure why, but I found it more pleasing if he were looking toward the right. Maybe it has something to do with the direction we read… I have no idea.
I cloned out a few of the background elements I found distracting, then used a few actions, including (but not limited to, haha) Sharpen This from Pioneer Woman’s free set, Beer Goggles from TRA 2, and Color Finder brush from MCP’s Bag of Tricks. I’ve recently been playing with Florabella’s Luxe I, and turned “Pandora” effect waaaaay down. I like it! Resized for web, cropped it just a smidgen, added my “after” logo, and there you go!
